Valheim: How to get honey, bees and beehives?

Honey is a particularly interesting resource for players in Valheim. We explain how to get this precious dish. Collectible resources are plentiful in Valheim and the ones we can create are just as good, if not more so. Among them we find the miel. However, you have to go through a few steps before you can eat honey or use it for other recipes. 

Have honey in Valheim

A multitude of players are unaware that it is possible to have of flour in Valheim, but it is. First of all, you will have to find a queen bee, which will obviously be the base of your hive.

We find them very often in the hives that are in abandoned huts located in the meadows. You will then have to take down the hive, to harvest the queen. This will require you to be careful, since the bees will not hesitate to attack you. You can also destroy the building directly, to limit the damage suffered and thus limit the risk of dying. Once the queen is caught, you will unlock the blueprint to build the hive.

When you have the queen, return to your base (or the desired place to craft the hive) to build it. Do not put them under a roof, otherwise the bees will not be happy and produce honey.

After a few days in game, you can harvest your honey (maximum 4 units per hive). We therefore advise you to check their content quite often, to prevent production from slowing down.
