A real phenomenon since its launch last February on Steam, valheim is now playable using a virtual reality headset. And all thanks to a very gifted player.
Let's start by recalling that Valheim is a survival game set in the heart of Norse mythology. Players can cooperate up to ten in order to build ever more robust and impressive structures. All while facing the formidable bestiary of the title developed by Iron Gate AB. Since its early access release on Steam, it has sold over 5 million copies worldwide.

A new perspective on Valheim
In an effort to boost immersion, a player has just created a mod to roam Valheim in virtual reality. Once downloaded from this address, it transforms the game into an experience that can only be enjoyed with a first-person point of view. It is always imperative to use the keyboard / mouse combo or a joystick to move in this universe. VR motion controllers will be supported soon.
To use the mod, it is also essential to download this BepInExPack and logically own the initial game. A virtual reality gameplay clip is available on Reddit. Currently, Valheim is only available via Steam.
