Valheim: Capturing & taming loxes

Valheim: Capturing & taming loxesIn Valheim, it is possible to tame loxes. However, the task is not the easiest. If you want to raise some, we explain the procedure to follow. There are many possibilities for our survival in Valheim. Among them, we find, for example, animal husbandry, which is not so simple at the beginning, but once the machine is launched, it will be of great help to you and will allow you to have pets ".

Capture and tame loxes in Valheim

The task will be more difficult than for boars and wolves, since the loxes are found in the plains biome, one of the most dangerous, especially with the presence of mosquitoes. Moreover, like wolves, loxes are particularly wild and will not hesitate to attack you if you get too close to them.

You will therefore have to show anticipation to launch your lox breeding, since it will be necessary to create an enclosure strong enough to withstand the attacks of the latter. Build a stone enclosure, large enough, in which you will lock up your animal. It must be done in the plain, for the sake of simplicity, which implies having a fairly powerful equipment against the dangers of this biome. The breeding of lox is not done at the beginning of the game, therefore.

Once you have successfully entered a lox inside your enclosure, it is enough to feed it for several days with barley or cloudberries, two resources that we find in the plains. Thanks to this, his taming gauge will reach 100%, which means that he will no longer be angry when he sees you.

However, unlike boars and wolves, it is not possible to breed loxes at this time. Breeding is therefore of little use at present. However, it is not impossible that, subsequently, Iron Gate will make available the reproduction of lox, which will make it possible to farm their resources, meat and skin.
