Not sure, though, that's enough to make it a "real good" game.

Given the feedback, which is not necessarily all very positive, it is clearly not him that we were expecting "at the cutting edge of technique". Yet Marvel's Avengers is the first PC game to support both technologies implemented by graphics card "enemy brothers", AMD and NVIDIA.

FidelityFX Super Resolution remplace Fidelity FX CAS

It is obviously on the side of NVIDIA that things started since its DLSS is significantly older than the AMD solution. As early as November 2020, NVIDIA had actually rolled out an update so that supersampling would support Marvel's Avengers and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. At the time, the American had also insisted more on this second title.

Just yesterday, Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, and Eidos Montreal released a new update for Marvel's Avengers. If the studios insist more on content modifications, through Steam we have confirmation that the FidelityFX Super Resolution is coming to the game. It also replaces the previous solution implemented by AMD, the Fidelity FX CAS .

Note that if the DLSS version used in the game seems relatively old, this still makes Marvel's Avengers the first title to use both techniques. It should soon be joined by Edge of Eternity and Necromunda: Hired Gun.
