Nintendo does not only flourish through its Switch so popular. In recent years, the Japanese manufacturer has also shone by bringing out old consoles from its boxes. And it may not be over!

From 2016 to 2017, Nintendo released two machines focused on retrogaming. The first copied the curves of the NES and the second took on the look of the iconic Super NES. Of course, the box was monumental, but as surprising as it may seem, the Japanese firm has still not repeated the experience. However, things may change in the coming months.

Thus, during an interview with the shareholders of the company, the boss of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furukawa, clearly explained that the Mini consoles are not definitively buried.

"We will continue to explore the possibility of providing access to our classic content, as we did with the NES and Super NES Classic Mini or through our online services, in order to meet the interest our products through different generations”.

So Nintendo isn't closing the door on the possibility of resurrecting some great classics in the near future. Whether through a physical console or Nintendo Switch Online. The GameCube or even portable machines (Game Boy) have not yet been revisited by the brand.
