Horizon Forbidden West gets a first big update

Despite positive feedback received from the specialized press, Horizon forbidden west is not free from criticism. The title of Guerrilla Games indeed seems to have many bugs. Fortunately, a first patch has just been deployed.

The Dutch studio was quick to react. Update 1.05 corrects concerns reported by the community in recent days. However, recently identified issues, such as issues with flickering, sharpness, or image saturation, are not addressed in this patch. This is also the case for the rare infinite loading screens and other bugs, including Aloy's blurry outfits in photo mode which will be addressed later.

A patch that feels good

Downloadable today on PS5 and PS4, update 1.05 (451,7 MB) brings fixes to several main quest missions. Secondary activities, races and environmental objectives (Grand-Cou, contracts, etc.) are also concerned. Among the more general fixes, we note the modification of the behavior of certain NPCs. Additionally, image over-sharpness caused by HDR disappears, as do HUD pop-ups and flickering.

Some crashing issues have been fixed, and overall performance has been improved. Difficult to mention everything, but the content of the patch is detailed with more precision via the link of the tweet above.
