Released at the end of October 2021 on PC, Age of Empires IV could relaunch this year and target a wider audience. Indeed, according to new rumors, a version for Microsoft consoles is about to be launched.

This year, the Age of Empires franchise will celebrate its 25th anniversary. To celebrate this event, Microsoft could make an announcement that will delight players with an Xbox console. After the incredible success of the latest Flight Simulator when it was launched on PC in 2020 and then when it was ported to consoles a year later, the strategy license would be on the way to following a similar path.

If nothing has been confirmed yet, this element could indicate an imminent announcement of Age of Empires IV on Xbox consoles. We just have to wait…
