This year 2022 could be the year of renewal for the saga Harry Potter, whether at the cinema with the third installment of Fantastic animals or on the side of video games via the highly anticipated Hogwarts legacy.
Things really seem to be picking up speed at Avalanche Software, the studio currently working on Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy. Apart from the announcement trailer released in September 2020, the open-world action-RPG has not shown itself at all. But with a release window still set in 2022, the title's situation could change very quickly.
Imminent return to Hogwarts?
As we write these lines, Avalanche Software is looking for a producer who will take care of the localization (voice, texts, video…) on Hogwarts Legacy. The AccountNGT Twitter account (which perfectly predicted the announcement of Star Wars Eclipse) recalls that the Sumo Digital studio was an important support in the creation of the game inspired by JK Rowling's books.
Better still, the insider specifies having been informed of a precise release date via different sources. If he does not reveal it in his messages, he states that the announcement will be made very soon. Communication around Hogwarts Legacy could therefore be launched in a few days, while confirming the launch in 2022. Still a little patience…
