Acclaimed by lovers of narrative games, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is going to afford a portage on Nintendo Switch next April 12.

Atlus and Vanillaware shared the news during a stream held to celebrate the game's anniversary, which released on PS4 in November 2019 in Japan and then September 2020 in the West.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is coming to Switch

Latest production from Vanillaware (Odin Sphere, Dragon's Crown, Muramasa...), 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim offers a sci-fi narrative adventure interspersed with strategic battles. We follow the crossed destinies of 13 characters confronted with an invasion of giant monsters that they will face with the help of mechas.

Hailed for the richness of its storyline based on time loops, the title still sold more than 500 units on PS000, despite its status as a niche game. It will now continue its journey on Nintendo Switch, where it is expected on April 4, 12 in our region and two days later in Japan.

Purchasers of this port will get two artbooks in digital format. They will also discover in game two new types of weapons for each protagonist, 26 in total. Finally, note that a physical version with a reversible cover has been announced, but only in Japan for the moment.

Published by SEGA in Europe, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim benefits from subtitles in Spanish. For dubbing, there is a choice between English and Japanese voices.
