His departure, on September 28, was more than canon. So much so that Amazon's latest MMO has become the most popular game around. But, by dint of accumulating missteps, between server problems, numerous bugs and a cruel lack of high-level content, N disappoints and players react accordingly.

Close to one million players five weeks ago, the MMO is showing a real loss of momentum. As evidenced by the weekly figures, the game is becoming less crowded.

A loss of at least 100 players every week!

Since its launch, New World has come up against the harsh reality of MMOs, a genre that requires development teams to infuse enough content to make players want to return to the game. And, unfortunately, the creation of Amazon Games n fails to do so and has seen its number of players almost halved, and it is not the Halloween event that should save it.

For good reason, the game accumulates difficulties with, for example, bugs that unbalance the PvP aspect of the game, a wobbly economy that is experiencing deflation on certain servers or anecdotal content beyond the maximum level, to name only those -this.

The reproaches continue to add up for New World which inevitably caused a flight of players, fewer and fewer. Each weekly statement highlights a loss of at least 100 players: 000 on October 726, 000 on October 10 and 608 on October 000. Nevertheless, the decline is gradually stabilizing although it remains alarming for Amazon Games.

According to the latest figures published on the Steam Charts site, the game is running, on a daily average, around 357 players. On the monthly chart for October, the MMO is on a roller coaster. It remains to be seen now when this decline will stop and when the Amazon Games teams will admit to being satisfied with the minimum threshold of players that they will manage to keep.
