Indeed, on social networks, many players have asked the development teams if New World will ever be ported to consoles. Remember that if the MMORPG is a very popular genre on PC, many titles have already emerged on our good old home consoles (Elder Scrolls Online, Final Fantasy XIV…).
To this request, on Twitter, the developers indicate: “As for the near future, New World will only be playable on PC”. They add: “There is no native controller support currently planned for New World. However, we encourage you to try the Steam controller if you want to play with a controller. To be continued.
