For a few hours, the new game signed Amazon, N, is available.

An MMORPG in which it is however impossible to baptize your character… Jeff Bezos.

Update 30/09:

In writing, we were able to try the new MMO from Amazon Games, especially on our Twitch channel. If we couldn't call our character Jeff Bezos, that didn't stop us from trying, just for the memes, to rename him Patrick Balkany.

Unfortunately, it seems that the players beat us to the post, since such a name was already in use. So don't worry, as long as your character is not called Jeff Bezos, you can name him according to your fancy by that of many well-known personalities in the Spanish landscape and elsewhere.

No Jeff Bezos in New World

After many years of development, Amazon can finally breathe with the launch yesterday of its MMORPG New World. A title obviously eagerly awaited by players, but also very important for Amazon, after the Crucible sinking.

Obviously, at the start of the game, New World asks players to shape their avatar and name it. If the possibilities are very numerous, the game nevertheless imposes certain limitations, starting with the offensive terms… and the name Jeff Bezos.

Indeed, several players have had the mischievous idea of naming their character after the founder of Amazon, but this results in the following error message: "This name cannot be used".

Note that the term “Amazon” is also banned, as is “JeffB”, “Bez0s” or even “Be Zos”. We are not kidding with Jeff Bezos at Amazon.
