While waiting to know more, rumors are circulating about the Remake galactic Action-RPG Knights of the Old Republic provided by Aspyr, currently intended for PC platforms and PS5.

On the occasion of the last podcast of Defining Duke on YouTube, it was indeed mentioned a combat system which should radically change the situation compared to the original title.

A far, far away combat system?

If we are to believe the participants of this podcast, the Remake of Knights of the Old Republic could have two combat systems to its credit. The first would be fast-paced, real-time action heavily inspired by the gameplay of the God of War reboot. The second would draw more influences from the side of Final Fantasy VII Remake, with the possibility of pausing the action in order to better coordinate his team against his opponents. However, we will have to wait to see gameplay in good and due form to be sure.

Another rumor regarding this highly anticipated Remake has also surfaced, this time about a hypothetical release window. According to the Bespin Bulletin, generally well-informed about all things Star Wars, a 2023 release is possible. The Bulletin indicates in any case to hold from several sources that it will be the last Star Wars stamped game currently known to be released.

Before it, we will indeed have Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2, which should be announced before E3 2022, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which should be released in spring 2022.
