Once again, the technical test ofHalo Infinite leaked some information, this time relating to the content of the Battle Pass of the first season planned for the launch of the game.

This will include 120 levels and will be, as 343 Industries had announced, based on the origin of the Spartans within Microsoft's FPS franchise: Reach. If the leaks are to be believed, some of the rewards reference previously leaked cosmetic items.

A Battle Pass that promises to be Reach

As 343 Industries has repeatedly pointed out, Halo Infinite's multiplayer will be free-to-play. To continue to supply the game with content over the months and years to come, the studio will use the now well-known Battle Pass.

These will last for one season, but their content will not be time-limited. Players will even be able to purchase the Battle Pass for a season they missed, and choose which one they want to advance to.

However, the Season 1 Battle Pass should attract the attention of diehard fans of the license because it pays a vibrant tribute to Reach, the planet where the Spartans we know were born and the scene of the latest official opus developed by Bungie. A great way for 343 Industries to reconnect with the origins of the franchise while bringing fresh blood with a new generation of Spartans, which is exactly the goal of multiplayer on Halo Infinite.

Reach for the tiers

This one will therefore offer 120 levels with some free rewards. However, you will have to go through the paid version to take full advantage of it. Hoping, however, that 343 Industries will have improved its experience system to advance on the upcoming Seasonal Battle Pass.

Indeed, the various technical tests were also there to, as their name suggests, test many features, such as progress on the Battle Pass. However, it only takes a few hours to complete the weekly challenges, leaving the Spartans on the sidelines to progress in their stages. These are thus without any other motivation to launch the multiplayer than the simple fun.

Rewards will take the form of armor pieces, paints, emblems, voices and skins for our personal AI, emotes, and many more. They will be governed by a rarity system: common, rare, epic and legendary. Every thirty levels, a legendary reward will reward hard-working Spartans.

For all the details, head to the Reddit thread cited in source below. If you want to keep the surprise, however, you will have to wait until December 8 for the official release of Halo Infinite on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
