The 5 season of Fall Guys arrives today and the gang of happy restless beans will put on their explorer gear in search of treasure in the middle of the jungle. Along the way, six new mini-games are appearing, as well as new features.
After a season 4 that focused on science fiction, neon lights and synthwave atmosphere, this one is positioned more as a tribute to exploration and its references from pop culture.

Head to the crown of the Lost Temple!
Between a cinematic that sets the mood for this season 5 and a few short gameplay extracts, Fall Guys hosts six new events, each more dangerous than the other. So get ready to go through Treetop Tumble, Lily Leapers, Bubble Trouble, Pegwin Pool Party and Stompin' Ground.
In the latter, you will have to flee three mechanical rhinos, slightly upset to know you are on their territory. Finally, the new sixth level, Lost Temple, is a brand new final test, described as the most ambitious of all!
Mediatonic plans with this new season to increase tenfold the user-friendly aspect of its title by developing its Squads mode. The studio is thinking about new ways to play together and will offer, throughout season 5 and during limited periods of time, duo and trio shows.
The Blunderdome, the place where the fictional TV show behind Fall Guys takes place, also welcomes a new feature, namely limited-time events. These will offer you many challenges to complete in order to get your hands on unique rewards, such as cosmetics, name plates, emotes and many other surprises.
Fall Guys Season 5 kicks off today on Steam and PlayStation 4. At the moment, the Switch and Xbox versions, originally supposed to release in the summer, have no new release date.
