The video game scene is once again stirred by a takeover. And this time, it is the giant Epic Games which is illustrated in this discipline by offering Tonic Games Group, the creators of the very user-friendly Fall Guys.

This information fell through a press release published on the Epic Games website. Before this takeover, you should know that Tonic Games Group worked for a decade with the publisher Devolver Digital. We owe them games like Foul Play, Hatoful Boyfriend and of course the very recent Fall Guys. However, this announcement should not upset things too much in the near future.

Fall Guys won't budge

Thus, in addition to welcoming the takeover of Tonic Games Group, Epic wanted to reassure the millions of players who frequently embark on wild games of Fall Guys. Yes, the title will continue to work on all media and will constantly receive updates on all of its releases. Additionally, the game is still slated for Xbox consoles as well as Nintendo Switch this summer.

Ultimate good news, Fall Guys will remain on sale on Steam despite the acquisition made by Epic Games. As for the studio's future games, we can still imagine that they will be exclusive to the Fortnite creators' online store.
