Elden Ring: new gameplay sequences in a dungeon

Now guaranteed to hold its release on February 25, Elden Ring allow themselves more freedom in terms of communication. And it's this time Game Informer who had the right to travel through several previously unseen areas of theaction-RPG highly anticipated.

In two videos of about 5 minutes each, we can discover not only new environments, even more spectacular than the Kingdom of Necrolimbo that we had the chance to browse during the Closed Network Test last November.

La science du level design de FromSoftware

The first video illustrates an area called in English “Liurnia of the Lakes”. As its name suggests, it is partially covered with water. As such, it reminds us of the place where we fight the dragon Agheel in the starting area of the closed beta. The opportunity to admire rather twilight environments, and the extraordinary look of the avatar of the Game Informer journalist, dressed all in black with a cape with a lovely physique.

In the second excerpt, Game Informer takes us on a discovery of “Castle Mourne” (Château Deuil in Spanish?). An impressive building, shrouded in mist and ardently defended by a giant archer, which the player will however have no great difficulty in knocking down.

The exploration of the castle continues between combat and infiltration, while giving the measure of the gigantism of the level design of this dungeon. By way of apotheosis, the video ends with an optional boss fight, which is however worth the detour in that it allows you to obtain a particularly formidable sword, explains the journalist in a third and last video commenting on what he happens on the screen.
