Red Hook Studios has just revealed the six main stages that will make up the development of Darkest dungeon ii until its release in version 1.0. And there is content.

A first mid-February update for Darkest Dungeon II
Our first grip of Darkest Dungeon II had already strongly seduced us. But unsurprisingly, Red Hook Studios still has a lot under way to improve and enrich the sequel to its successful game, still in early access on the Epic Games Store. Evidenced by the rich roadmap just released.
While remembering to be especially attentive to feedback from the community, the studio revealed the six main stages of development (subject to change, of course) until the release in final version, still without an associated date. The first milestone will arrive in mid-February, with more localization, new creatures (spiders, dogs, worms, etc.) and improvements to the variation of the roguelike part, encounters linked to the heroes' past or even traits and objects.
Out at the end of the year?
The dates of the next steps are not yet specified. In M2 will come a new region, a new enemy faction, new bosses or script content. In M3, a new hero, a revised relationship/affinity system, new cultists and even variations for the Valley. Stage M4 will add another region, enemies and boss, but also pets. M5 will add another hero, a wandering boss, improvements for driving and travel, or even the original appearances of the heroes.
Finally, M6 will mark the launch in version 1.0, with a new hero, the final boss of Act 5, script content and the addition of achievements. Of course, graphical improvements, bugfixes, translation and balancing at all levels are always in progress throughout development.
