The updates are linked for members of the Xbox Insider program, who can discover in advance the features of the Xbox Series X|S.
One of them should make people happy, since it concerns one of the biggest flaws in the Quick Resume.
New for the Quick Resume
It was one of the flagship features of the Xbox Series when it launched in November 2020. The Quick Resume allows you to restart a game quickly after leaving it and to change applications while finding yourself directly where you left off. If it quickly found its audience, this option could still be greatly improved, in particular because it did not always give players control over the games accessible quickly.
Some games that were supposed to still be active were suddenly no longer active for some unknown reason. But this disappointment will soon disappear thanks to the arrival of a new Quick Resume option. More concretely, players will be able to pin up to two games in order to be sure that they remain active, without time limit and regardless of the other applications launched. The titles in question will only be removed if they are manually deactivated or in the event of an update. The good news is that Xbox teams have already confirmed that more Quick Resume improvements to "give players more options" are coming soon. It remains to be seen which ones.
