After a year of absence, WWE is back under the 2K Games banner with WWE 2K22. The American publisher has finally decided to announce the release date and the different editions that will be marketed next March.
The superstar who will be present on the cover of WWE 2K22 is none other than the legendary Mexican wrestler Rey Mysterio who is celebrating his twentieth anniversary in the American wrestling league. To celebrate the event, we were treated to a brand new trailer made up of gameplay extracts with the participation of different wrestlers.

Thus, WWE 2K22 will benefit from a new game engine allowing to obtain more realistic graphics. The gameplay has also been completely redesigned even if we will have to take the title in hand to judge these hypothetical improvements. The 2K Showcase world will recount the great moments of Mysterio's career. Other modes like My Ascension, My MG and My FACTION will also be included.
WWE 2K22 will be released on March 11, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Note that the standard version will be sold at €74,99 on current consoles. A cross-gen digital bundle will be available (€79,99), as will a Deluxe Edition (€99,99) with additional content including the immortal Undertaker pack. Finally, the nWo 4-Life edition (€119,99) completes the picture with My FACTION cards, alternative outfits and early access allowing play from March 8th.
