WWE 2K22: a new trailer and a release in March 2022 for the wrestling game

As expected, 2K Games took advantage of a weekend full of wrestling news to unveil new details about WWE 2K22. Initially expected this fall, the simulation will finally make us wait until next year.

The questioning after the disaster of the 2020 opus may have borne fruit. After some encouraging indiscretions about its game's gameplay, 2K Games really seems to be taking its time with WWE 2K22. This weekend, on the occasion of the SummerSlam pay-per-view held in Las Vegas, the wrestling simulation illustrated its progress through a new video.

A game cut to win the title?

Through a trailer of barely 30 seconds, WWE 2K22 highlights the entries of various renowned wrestlers and some brief exchanges in the ring. Via a Twitter post, the developers explain that the game will benefit from completely redesigned controls and engine. All while promising “stunning graphics”.

For now, it is difficult to give credence to these promises. No gameplay sequence has been revealed but 2K will give more information on its production from January. Because, and this is the last major information, WWE 2K22 will not be released this year but in March 2022. The media that will host the title have not yet been specified.
