Shadowlands prepares the sequel (or the end?) of World of Warcraft
Launched at the end of November 2020, the Shadowlands extension of World of Warcraft is coming to an end. In addition to the months that have passed, the arrival of a new mysterious version and inter-faction instances prove that the pool of players is no longer what it used to be: all the signs are there. It was therefore time for the final major update, numbered 9.2 and dubbed The End of Eternity, to arrive.
On the scenario side, Blizzard tells us this: “The Jailer now holds the key that will allow him to forge a new reality where all souls will kneel before him. In a last ditch effort, the heroes of Azeroth must pursue him to the mysterious realm of Zereth Mortis, where the Progenitors forged the Eternities. Stand together in the darkest hours of the Shadowlands and defy death to save the cosmos before all life disappears”.
More concretely, in terms of content, the new zone of Zereth Mortis is open with its share of activities and its faction, the Enlightened. The Sepulcher of the Founders raid will arrive on March 2 on normal and heroic difficulty, and on mythic on March 9. A new arena is also here to accompany a new clash and season 3.
