For now, access is restricted to some of the amateurs who have registered beforehand.
Just yesterday, what could be akin to a technical bug gave the impression of a false start in the opening of the beta for World of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade. Things are now back to normal.

The Burning Crusade Classic Beta Has Begun!
Through a title that leaves little doubt about the content of the information, Blizzard has therefore confirmed the long-awaited launch of this second stage of the revival of World of Warcraft.
In August 2019, Blizzard distributed World of Warcraft Classic after extensively testing the waters with fans of the venerable MMORPG. The idea being to be able to rediscover the game practically as it was when it was first launched, in vanilla version or almost. The game was presented in version 1.12.1, as in September 2006.
Not only have the players warmly welcomed this “return to basics”, but they have asked for more. Blizzard has launched several questionnaires to judge the interest in the release of a Burning Crusade Classic and now the extension is slowly materializing.
For now, the beta test is only open to a few players. You must have registered on the dedicated page of the official World of Warcraft site of course, but also that Blizzard has accepted your application. We bet that new waves of testers will be added gradually.
The content should also be the subject of progressive additions whereas for the moment the progression of the characters is limited to level 64 and that the PvP is not yet available. Also, third-party add-ons cannot be activated on the current version.
World Of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade is due out sometime in 2021, although a more specific date has not yet been mentioned.
