Nothing goes for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2. After several postponements, the title has just been delayed once again... Worse still, the studio that was in charge of the development has probably had the project withdrawn.

The release dropped this week is clear, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 will not be released in the near future. While its launch was initially scheduled for March 2020, the title was finally postponed to 2021 without further details. Finally, we have just learned that the software will not be released before 2022... And this is only a guess since Paradox Interactive no longer even bothers to indicate a specific year.

A chaotic development

Of course, there is a good reason behind this umpteenth delay. Also in this same press release, Paradox explains that the Hardsuit Lab studio is no longer in charge of developing the game. It is impossible to know the motivations behind such a decision, but it is clear that the design of this opus is far from being a long quiet river.

Paradox simply stated that “This game is very important to us and it was a very ambitious project from the start. In order to fulfill the goals we have set ourselves, we have come to the conclusion that a change is necessary and therefore more development time is required”.

See you on an unknown date to discover (maybe one day) Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2.
