Five long years have passed since the launch of Titanium case 2… The franchise of Respawn Entertainment is however not necessarily buried and a clue could even indicate the upcoming announcement of a third opus.
Update 23/09/21 15:00 PM: Respawn Community Manager Jason Garza wanted to comment on the rumors of possible teasing around Titanium case 3. According to him, the studio is currently working on too many other games to have time to consider a third opus. He even adds that there is " nothing to report " on the side of Titanfall for the moment. Shame…
Despite a good critical reception when it was released in October 2016, Titanfall 2 failed to do well in terms of sales. Respawn Entertainment then logically turned to other projects like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and of course Apex Legends. Thus, the Californian studio has maintained a certain vagueness as to the future of its license featuring destructive mechas…. But we may have something new soon!

A tweet that says a lot?
On Twitter, Respawn Entertainment posted a short message to respond to criticism from some players who consider that the studio has simply abandoned Titanfall.
“Contrary to what some people report, Titanfall is the very core of our DNA. Who knows what the future holds…”
The Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley also tweeted emojis in response to Respawn's post. Can we expect a Titanfall 3 announcement at the ceremony next December? Difficult to have the heart net for the moment.
