[Update] The Last of Us Part II is coming to PlayStation Now this October

Le PlayStation Now seems to continue its rise with the addition of highly appreciated games within its catalog. And in just a few days, a new wave of titles will hit the service.

Update from 04/10 at 18:00 p.m.: Sony has confirmed The Last of Us Part II is coming to PlayStation Now on October 5. It will be well accompanied by Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Fallout 76, Desperados III and Yet Another Zombie Defense. Rounding out the list are Amnesia: Collection and Victor Vran: Overkill Edition. Finally, the Naughty Dog title will be removed from the catalog on January 3, 2022.

In order to compete with the eternal Xbox Game Pass, Sony is relying more significantly on its in-house subscription service: PlayStation Now. For example, recent information evokes the probable arrival of PlayStation 5 games on this platform. In addition, the Japanese manufacturer will soon launch a major exclusive for PS4, PS5 and PC members.

The title of Naughty Dog would not come alone since Desperados 3, Yet Another Zombie Defense HD, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered and even Fallout 76 would be on the program. Thus, Xbox would invite itself directly to the heart of Sony's service via its post-apocalyptic online FPS.

Until next January, an installment of the Final Fantasy saga will join PlayStation Now every month. After the remastering of the eighth episode in October, Final Fantasy IX will land in November. It will be followed by Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD on December 7 and then Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Edge on January 4, 2022.
