Ubisoft will probably have a lot to tell us in the weeks and months to come. The Spanish publisher has many major projects in production and some unannounced titles are revealed to us via a very reputable insider.

We will voluntarily leave aside the games already known and not necessarily very expected to focus on the really new elements revealed by the insider Tom Henderson.

Projects that take their time

No less than 16 games were mentioned by Henderson in the article published on the Xfire site. Let's start with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora which was announced by Ubisoft last June. The Massive Entertainment studio would have created a new trailer and the title would already be playable. Like Skull & Bones and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, this adaptation of James Cameron's feature film will be released between April 2022 and March 2023.

Regarding Beyond Good & Evil 2, we learn that Ubisoft is not considering canceling the project since too much money has already been spent. However, the game is not expected to resurface for a while. It's a bit the same for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake which completely disappeared from circulation after its tumultuous announcement in September 2020. As for the Splinter Cell remake, pre-production has begun but the launch is not expected. take place before 2024 (at best).

A few suites under the elbow

We also had news about The Crew 3. Ubisoft Ivory Tower's racing game has already leaked several times and development has reportedly started a while ago. A formalization this year would not be excluded. Let's move on to Assassin's Creed: Rift, a title that was basically a simple DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Tom Henderson hints at a release in the first half of 2023 given that the next major installment, Assassin's Creed Infinity, won't arrive until 2024-2025.

Let's end with two entirely new games that had never been mentioned before. Ubisoft has reportedly launched production on a sequel to Immortal Fenyx Rising. Again, the title would only be in pre-production at Ubisoft Quebec. Finally, another Prince of Persia in 2.5D “inspired by the Ori saga” is mentioned.
