Initially scheduled for the end of 2021, the highly anticipated Total War: Warhammer III will only finally open the doors of the Chaos Wastes in early 2022.

The bad news comes to us from Creative Assembly via the official Twitter account of the game. To console the most disappointed, the British studio, however, invites fans to join it tomorrow to discover in all its glory the distant and Great Cathay.

Ten years ago, the geniuses behind the historic Total War games surprised their world by making Total War: Warhammer. A colossal project announced from the start as a trilogy, in partnership with Games Workshop, to give life more than ever to this fantastic universe where there is only war.

Total War: Warhammer III is therefore the masterful conclusion of a very long-term epic saga. But Creative Assembly believes it needs time to release a title that lives up to what it represents, for its teams as well as for fans of the franchise. The British studio has therefore decided to postpone the release of its next title from the end of 2021 to the beginning of 2022.

May the most saddened dry their tears of blood, because tomorrow will be the opportunity to learn more about Grand Cathay, one of the six factions present at the launch of the game. We will not fail to have our dose of information on Total War: Warhammer III before the launch of the carnage, therefore expected now on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store for the beginning of 2022.
