Much to the chagrin of strategy gamers, The Creative Assembly announced that Total War: Warhammer III was not going to be able to keep its promise of a release at the end of 2021. However, the developers assured it: the game will indeed be there at the beginning of 2022. To be forgiven, the studio has since unveiled two new factions in order to fill in the information.

And what better, after the revelation of the factions of Grand Cathay and Tzeentch, than to offer us a fairly substantial nine-minute video that gives pride of place to the gameplay?

Grand Cathay ready to defend its ramparts

It's time for battle for the respective armies of Grand Cathay and Tzeentch, as this new extract shows. Eternal rivals, the two factions are fiercely opposed here in an attempt to siege the Great Bastion, a titanic wall composed of three large gates: those of the Dragon, the Serpent and the Turtle.

After a quick review of the troops and distinguished commanders who will try to protect the fortress, it is the turn of the army of Tzeentch, made up of an impressive number of demons, and its generals to have the right to its description .

The second half of the video shows us different phases of the battle, the actions of which are commented on in parallel by the voice-over, as well as the different strategies chosen by the two factions to gain the advantage over each other.

But, with great evils, great remedies, Grand Cathay does not hesitate to use its most devastating assets, such as the transformation of the character of Miao Ying into a dragon, to repel the demons in this presentation of gameplay.
