Featured at Nintendo's Indie World event last August, TOEM was immediately noticed with its black and white universe and its relaxing side, where walks and discoveries of all kinds are worth more than the rest.

At the time of its presentation, only an exit window set for this fall had been mentioned. The Something We Made teams have just revealed the game's release date, in addition to announcing the title's arrival on a new medium.

A film full of memories

With its setting inspired by Scandinavia, TOEM makes us reconnect with the exhilarating feeling that hides behind every trip. Besides the wonder and excitement of discovering new things, TOEM also reminds us of the simple pleasure of capturing memories through the lens of a camera.

The game also makes it its main proposition since you will have to solve puzzles by taking many pictures on behalf of the inhabitants of the region. You will then collect stamps to exchange for a free bus card, which will take you to your next destination.

At the end of this long journey, you will have the chance to admire and immortalize one of the most natural and magical phenomena, the “Toem”. Because of its proposition, its encouragement of slowrunning, its peaceful atmosphere and its mountain to climb, TOEM reminds us a lot of A Short Hike.

After many tentative attempts to bring TOEM to life, the Something We Made teams have announced its availability on PC, Switch and PS5 from September 17, 2021.
