Titan Quest: the venerable hack'n slash welcomes a new expansion

Fifteen years after its release, the excellent and venerable hack'n slash Titan Quest welcomes a fourth expansion titled Eternal Embers.

This brand new extension focuses on Chinese mythology and also introduces a new mastery (or class for friends) centered on alchemy.

Journey to the East

This is news that will satisfy players in need of hack'n slash experience, when they have surely already returned Diablo II: Resurrected… if they have not been put off by the many problems present since its launch. Since the release of the Anniversary Edition of Titan Quest, the title published by THQ has hosted two expansions centered on Ragnarok and Atlantis. Only one extension had completed the original opus, called Immortal Throne.

With this fourth expansion, Titan Quest sends us back to China, a country that the main adventure of the game already made us quickly visit in its last stretch. It will therefore be in Eternal Embers to go even further, with more than thirty new opponents to defeat, obviously inspired by Chinese mythology.

We will find references to popular tales such as the Jade Emperor, the Ten Suns, the Dragon King or the Four Seas, which will serve as acts within the story. This extension will also introduce a new mastery focusing on alchemy in order to seek immortality.

This new expansion of Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is already available for Steam, at -10% until December 10 (17,99 euros instead of 19,99 euros). Its arrival on GOG, Epic Games Store and consoles is also planned, on an as yet unspecified date.
