The WitcherCon took place this weekend. In addition to discussing season 2 of the series Netflix (which will begin on December 17), CD Projekt RED quickly spoke about the update PS5 / Xbox Series X|S to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

We know it only too well, the Polish studio is working hard in order to correct the (many) technical issues that affect Cyberpunk 2077. However, this does not prevent the development teams from designing the next-gen upgrade that must be rolling out to The Witcher 3 before the end of the year. And during the famous WitcherCon, we were able to have some meager information on this subject.

A new version and some bonuses

First of all, you should know that this patch for the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft is titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition. On Twitter, CD Projekt RED showed off key art for this iteration. No major changes except for Geralt's face which looks much more realistic. In addition, additional DLCs will add elements from the Netflix series to the game. We don't know any more at this time.

Finally, the studio wanted to reassure its community by confirming that the upgrade will be launched this year on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC. But no release date has yet been revealed…
