F1 2021 dated July 16!

Good news for all F1 enthusiasts. In addition to the Imola Grand Prix to follow this weekend, Electronic Arts has just confirmed the availability, on July 16, of the all-new F1 2021.

A new opus which will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but also on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The publisher promises "a reservoir full to bursting with new features", including a new Story mode.

Indeed, F1 2021 will offer a Story mode called Breaking Point (or Braking Point in English), which will require the player to start in Formula 2 before being able to try his luck in F1. The opportunity to find this good old Devon Butler, present in F1 2019.

A new F1 2021 that will also allow two-player Career mode to be played, cooperatively or competitively. A new Real Season Start mode will also allow the season to be taken on the way, based on the real F1 standings. The publisher has already confirmed the presence of new circuits (compared to the previous edition) such as Portimao, Imola and Jeddah, which will however be offered (free) as DLC, after the game is released.

For the rest, we will find the classic modes that made the success of F1, with My Stable, a two-player split-screen mode, customizable seasons, F2... At the moment, EA has not broadcast the slightest gameplay video of this new F1 2021, but there is no doubt that the American giant will take advantage of the upcoming Grand Prix weekends to give news of this episode.

The meeting at the first virtual corner is scheduled for July 16, obviously with a next-gen version of which we can't wait to discover the optimizations which, we hope, will not be limited to "faster loading".
