It's official, "New" Pokémon Snap will be available on April 30 on Nintendo Switch !
And next month, the Pokémon franchise will celebrate its 25th anniversary, with many festivities on the program!

The “New” Pokémon Snap dated on Nintendo Switch
In June 2020, Nintendo resurrected Pokémon Snap during its Pokémon Presents event. Today, we learn that this new opus, very largely inspired by the episode launched more than 20 years ago on Nintendo 64, will be available at the end of April, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
It was via Twitter, while unveiling a new trailer for the game, that the Pokémon account confirmed the good news to the whole world.
The objective of this Pokémon Snap will always be the same, namely to photograph as many critters as possible, with if possible a minimum of talent, during a photo safari organized to observe wild Pokémon in their natural environment in Lentis. Note that this is not some remake, but a new adventure, inspired by the game launched once on Nintendo 64.
Nintendo explains: “At the request of Professor Mirror, you will conduct an ecological study aboard your trusty Neo One vehicle. You will have to photograph the Pokémon of the region in their natural habitats, in order to unlock the secret of the Lumina phenomenon”.
For all photography and Pokémon lovers, appointment is made for April 30th.
