The title of Naughty Dog still hides some secrets from us. Indeed, it would seem that cosmetic elements taken from the multiplayer mode of The Last Of Us Part II appear in the game.

Unlike the first opus launched in 2013, The Last of Us Part II does not include a multiplayer dimension. The Californian studio preferred to develop this component independently of the campaign, which should lead to the upcoming release of a standalone playable with several people. But, when the game was designed, Naughty Dog had probably already worked on the multiplayer…

The find comes to us from content creator Speclizer on YouTube (video below). In the files of The Last of Us Part II, the main interested party unearthed three armors which would be from the multiplayer mode at the time “abandoned” by Naughty Dog. These models have obviously not been completed and could only serve as prototypes which were not intended to be used in the final version.

Other elements from multiplayer, such as equipment packs (stealth, assault, support, etc.), were also found, but these could not be activated in game. Naughty Dog should reveal its intentions regarding online of The Last of Us Part II very soon.
