The site The Loadout had fun adding up the recommended retail price of each game that integrated the Game Pass (PC and Xbox) in 2021. And as the title of this brief indicates, that's a hell of a sum.
A busy month of March
Based on the price of each game sold individually on the Microsoft Store, The Loadout estimates the total value of games that joined Game Pass in 2021 to be $6, or about $317.
And it was in March that Microsoft was the most generous, with the arrival of more than twenty games from Bethesda on the service. By adding their value to that of the other titles which entered the catalog in March, we arrive at the sum of 964 dollars (855 euros).
Conversely, it was in April that the Game Pass was the least "interesting" (all things considered), with a total value capping at 330,91 dollars (293,65 euros). But, once again, when we relate this to the price of the subscription (12,99 euros per month for the Game Pass Ultimate formula), we really have nothing to complain about.
Especially since, as part of the Game Pass, Microsoft makes key titles from its stable available as soon as they are released. Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite are thus playable at no additional cost for all subscribers. And next year, the highly anticipated Starfield will do the same.
