When announced in 2013, The Division was the first new license launched under the banner Tom Clancy's. The game arrived three years later before a sequel was released in March 2019. Today, Ubisoft details its plans for the franchise's near future.

Let's go back in time once again to return to June 2019. At that not so distant time, the Spanish publisher formalized a partnership with Netflix for the production of a film The Division with Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain. No release date has been announced at this time. In addition, a novel could also see the light of day. But Ubisoft has other projects around The Division in the field of video games.

The Division on all fronts

First of all, a certain Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland is in development at the Red Storm studio. It's a free-to-play game that won't require you to have played the previous episodes before jumping into the game. We don't know anything more except that the title will land on PC, consoles and in Cloud gaming during the 2021/2022 period. Ubisoft has already opened registrations to test the game in advance.

In addition, The Division will be available on mobile media via another completely new opus. For now, Ubisoft has not said anything about the content of this game. Finally, The Division 2 will receive a major update at the end of the year which will contain a new game mode and systems to improve the agents. The Ubisoft Forward to be held in June could lift the veil on additional information.
