According to its first trailer, the final episode of the first season of the anthology will therefore have little airs of Saw.
A chapter visibly inspired by Saw
It's now a ritual, The Dark Pictures Anthology has unveiled its next episode with a teaser reserved for those who have completed House of Ashes. A few days after the release of the latest installment of the anthology, Bandai Namco formalizes the next chapter: The Devil in Me. The publisher also specifies that this fourth episode will conclude the first season of the anthology.
This will not be the only particularity of this opus, since it will move away a little from the supernatural to approach a more visceral atmosphere close to the Saw films. The plot of The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me will indeed revolve around a serial killer, of which we will most certainly play the victims. No release window has been revealed, but it is speculated that The Devil in Me will be available by next year.
