Previously announced for December 10, the continuation of the franchise Siberia, The World Before, was eventually postponed at the last minute.

Microids, the publisher of the title, has indeed announced the bad news via the official Twitter account of the famous Adventure games license.

The World Before will have to wait a little longer

Fourth installment of the franchise initiated almost twenty years ago, Syberia: The World Before was particularly awaited by fans wishing to reconnect with Kate Walker. Pre-orders for the game opened last August on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

This is a certain mark of confidence on the part of Koalabs and Microids to immerse players in the magnificent world of the late Benoît Sokal, all accompanied by a soundtrack orchestrated by Inon Zur . Unfortunately, this new opus in the Syberia saga will not find its place under the virtual tree, since an unexpected announcement that fell a few days ago postponed the release of the game to the 1st quarter of 2022.

It will therefore still be necessary to arm yourself with a little patience before discovering the new adventures of Kate Walker, mysteriously linked to those of Dana Roze, a young girl who lived in Vaghen in 1937. This duality of characters through time and space promises to be a feast for the senses, but its release date is yet to be determined.
