Among the long list of licenses in which Epic Games cheerfully draws its ideas for skins, there is certainly that the creator of Fortnite particularly fond of. No, we're not talking about Marvel this time, but about the iconic license Street Fighter who returns, once again, in the battle royale after the appearance of Ryu and Chun-Li, then Guile and Cammy.
Eight months later, it is with the arrival of Sakura and Blanka that Epic Games is putting the cover back to supply Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 with new features. And it's not just skins on the program!
Two competitions that will knock you out.
At the end of April, two new challengers enter the battle royale ring and will come to fill the skins cabinet of the players most fond of cosmetics. As part of Street Fighter's 35th anniversary, a Blanka outfit and a Sakura outfit can be picked up from the in-game store this Friday, April 29, around 2 a.m.
Obviously, each of them has the right to their personalized equipment. For Blanka, the outfit comes with a 'Blanka-Chan' back bling, a 'Tropical Hazard Skewer' pickaxe as well as an alternate outfit 'Blanka Delgado' and a 'Blanka Backflip' emote ". Same preferential treatment for Sakura who, in addition to her outfit, benefits from an alternative “Sakura gym” outfit, a “Catch-Hanakazé” back accessory, a Combat Tournament Trophy pickaxe and a glider “ Kayari Buta”.
As a tribute to the famous fights of the license, Fortnite organizes two new cups in honor of the two champions. They take place today, on mobile and within the Zero construction mode, as well as tomorrow on the Battle Royale mode, all media combined. Thanks to this, the most seasoned players will get a new loading screen, called “Bonus Level”.
