We may have the new great Arlesian of video games. Unveiled last December at the Game Awards, Star wars eclipse will probably be desired for a long time. If the rumors published this week are correct, the release of the game should not take place for several years.

The day after its formalization, Star Wars Eclipse was already making headlines since we learned that the title of Quantic Dream would not be released for three or even four years. Indeed, Star Wars Eclipse development concerns were quickly pointed out. The fault of a capricious engine, but also of difficulties related to recruitment within the Parisian studio. And the ordeal is obviously far from over...

A wait that will be endless!

All the issues discussed above therefore have a major influence on the production of Star Wars Eclipse. So according to new information published by the insider Tom Henderson, Quantic Dream would now target a release for the period 2027-2028. It is therefore not inconceivable to imagine that this adaptation of the George Lucas license could land on the next generation of consoles.

However, Quantic Dream has other projects in the works. The Spanish firm would work in particular on a game inspired by its technical demo The Dark Sorcerer as well as on a card game which should arrive on our mobile supports soon.
