Once again, the Tokyo Game Show will have to make do with an exclusively dematerialized format for its 2021 edition. However, several publishers are still preparing a few announcements… And Square Enix seems to have some nice tricks up its sleeve.

After a relatively busy Gamescom, the Tokyo Game Show will take over from September 30 to October 3, 2021. Especially for this occasion, Microsoft will organize a conference during which the American manufacturer promises “exclusive announcements”. Now it's publisher Square Enix's turn to schedule its own event during the Japanese "show".

Very heavy to predict?

It's a Square Enix Presents of about 50 minutes that will await us during this TGS 2021. The conference will begin on October 1 at noon, Paris time. The firm will reveal “the latest information about our upcoming titles”. It must be said that the publisher is expected on several fronts at the end of 2021 with games like Guardians of the Galaxy, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Babylon's Fall or Life is Strange: True Colors.

Even more anticipated, Final Fantasy XVI could also make a remarkable appearance at the Tokyo Game Show in the company of Forspoken. If present, these two PS5 exclusives might just steal the show.
