While the output of film Uncharted is expected in a few days in dark rooms, the director of this adaptation is already working on his next project.

And again, Ruben Fleischer is eyeing PlayStation and Naughty Dog.

Jak and Daxter soon in the cinema?

Naughty Dog games are popular with the 7th art. While a The Last of Us series is being filmed and the Uncharted movie launch is imminent, another game from the studio could be adapted for the big screen. Ruben Fleischer, already at the helm of the film around the adventures of Nathan Drake (played by Tom Holland) has announced that he is working on an adaptation of Jak and Daxter. However, he did not specify the progress of the project, nor what turn it will take.

The famous duo who made the heyday of the PS2 could just as easily come back in a film or an animated series, or mix live action and animation like the Sonic film. Difficult for the moment to know if it is the same adaptation in development since 2013 at Blockade Entertainment or a completely different project. In any case, this announcement should revive the hopes of fans who are desperate to see Jak and Daxter in a new game. With any luck, the arrival of the teenager and his half-otter half-weasel sidekick on big screen will allow him to benefit from the same treatment as Ratchet & Clank, which had the right to a reboot on PS4.
