Initially presented more than a year ago, during the Sony event dedicated to the PS5, Solar ash proudly announced a release date for this month, after being unveiled again during E3 2021. According to the Heart Machine studio press release, however, it seems that the game needs a little more time than expected.

The release of the twirling Solar Ash, published by Annapurna Interactive, was only a handful of days away from its launch originally scheduled for October 26, but bugs got the better of its imminent release.

Solar Ash will wait a little longer to shine

Highly anticipated, the successor to Hyper Light Drifter will finally teach us to be patient since it offers itself five additional weeks of development, in particular to refine its overall experience and correct the recalcitrant bugs which are at the origin of its postponement.

To keep players informed of the situation, the Heart Machine teams have published a press release on their Twitter account which explains the reasons for this last minute postponement and which sets the new release date for the software on PC, PS4 and PS5 on December 2.

It is therefore in complete transparency that the developers announce that they "need a little more time to make the latest fixes and tweaks within the game, while continuing to navigate the heart of this global pandemic as a team. very dedicated." According to them, this short delay will be enough to bring its final touches to Solar Ash.

For those who missed its announcement, Solar Ash takes the form of a third-person adventure and platform game where you play as Rei, a "voidrunner", who will try at all costs to protect his home planet, and so many others, from the threat of the Ultravoid.
