Announced during QuakeCon 2021, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition will land at the end of the year on consoles and PC. This is an opportunity to take stock of the content that will await us in this umpteenth iteration of the RPG signed Bethesda Game Studios.

Skyrim is definitely immortal! The fifth episode of The Elder Scrolls saga will celebrate its 10th birthday on November 11, 2021, and Bethesda has some surprises in store for us to celebrate the event. Starting with a concert with the London Symphony Orchestra which will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube on that date. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to browse an online museum that will display the creations of the community.

New in Skyrim

But the big chunk of that celebration remains The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition. On its site, the American publisher has detailed the content of this new version which will also arrive on November 11. In addition to containing Skyrim Special Edition (combining the basic game and its DLC), we will find no less than 74 different creations which will densify the content of the title. In total, more than 500 elements (quests, weapons, armor, houses…) will be added.

Skyrim Special Edition owners will have to pay extra to get this Anniversary Edition. However, fishing, survival mode, and quests with Saints and Seducers will be free. In addition, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrade (Game Pass version included) will also be offered to owners of the famous Special Edition.
