What an amazing year for Pirates of Sea of Thieves ! 2021 is coming to an end for Rare's game with the launch of the fifth free season. The British studio has not done things by halves since the novelties are legion.
Boosted by its partnership with the Pirates of the Caribbean license this summer, Sea of Thieves has seen its number of players explode in recent months. In October, Rare announced that it had crossed the 25 million user mark since the title was launched in March 2018. And to satisfy all these beautiful people, we will have to add content! Hide your most beautiful treasures
Among the notable additions of this new season, the possibility of burying treasures. The player can then create a map, place it on the Quest Board, and then wait for other pirates to come and find the loot. If a crew finds the precious treasure, its former owner will gain reputation points.
In addition to this relatively pleasant feature, fireworks and flares are appearing. These can be launched from any cannon. Note also the deployment of new postures such as being able to sleep, sit or even whisper. Finally, a new Plunder Pass is in the game to unlock rewards during the 100 levels.
