Sea of Thieves is preparing to launch its fourth season tomorrow, while adding content. After a season 3 punctuated by a collaboration with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the spirited Jack Sparrow, Rare's game takes us to explore the abyssal depths of the ocean.
After plundering the many islands present in the Sea of Thieves universe, the pirates will now have to arm themselves with courage to inspect the seabed in search of buried treasures.

Under the ocean, under the ocean!
However, players will have to prepare for the welcoming committee that awaits them. Indeed, the mermaids make their appearance in this new season and will take care to protect their treasures whatever the cost. Players will therefore have to face this threat during the new expeditions to the underwater sanctuaries introduced by this new season.
These are full of both puzzles and challenges and will not allow you to unravel their mysteries so easily. Especially since if you escape with your arms full of loot, you will have to both give way to the mermaids and prepare for the pirates waiting for you on the surface.
But like any good pirate, it is possible to hide your treasure somewhere under water, in the sanctuaries of Mere, and come and look for it discreetly once the conflict has subsided. Note that if you get your hands on all the secrets of the sunken kingdom, you will also be rewarded with weapons, emotes, parts for the Sunken Sorrow ship and many other items.
Like every season of Sea of Thieves, fabulous new expeditions will appear through coral-encrusted bottles that contain the precious sesame that potentially makes you rich. By the way, the game will benefit from 100 new levels to unlock thanks to this update which begins, remember, tomorrow.
