It is a rather unexpected rumor that falls at the beginning of the week. Indeed, Rockstar Games could be about to announce a game that no one was expecting anymore… And this formalization could have taken place as early as this month of December!
If Grand Theft Auto VI is awaited like the messiah, the famous star studio could have other priorities… A strange rumor begins to circulate about another game which is currently under development at Rockstar Games. And that's not about GTA or even Red Dead Redemption.
A missed date?
According to generally well-informed insider Tom Henderson, Rockstar Games almost announced Bully 2 during The Game Awards 2021, which took place on December 10. If the main interested party explains that the situation around the game is quite vague, he explains that “some people saw a playable version just a few weeks before the Game Awards”. Another tweet (rendered inaccessible by its author) published by a journalist from the Game Informer site also seems to point to the existence of Bully 2.
Last January, however, rumors evoked the outright cancellation of Bully 2. Still according to Henderson, Rockstar was therefore working on a new iteration. If the rumors were to be confirmed, an official announcement could come in the (very) near future. But, in the meantime, it is important to take this meager information with a grain of salt.
