While all attention is focused on Horizon forbidden west which our review just came out of, this morning Capcom quietly uploaded a mysterious online page displaying a countdown to an impending announcement… What could it be?
An announcement around Street Fighter or Resident Evil in sight?

It is precisely on February 21 next at 7 am (in Spain) that the appointment is fixed by Capcom, if one refers to the countdown freshly launched by the publisher. And obviously, the Capcom licenses being numerous, the theories around this mysterious teasing will rain until the officialization next Monday.
However, the date of February 21 strangely coincides with the conclusion of the Capcom Pro Tour which will take place this weekend. An event dedicated to Street Fighter V and whose saga will celebrate its 35th anniversary in this year 2022. Coincidence? Still difficult to say. Anyway, these are solid leads for a possible reveal around a next installment in the cult saga of fighting games. Street Fighter V having already been released six years ago (reissued several times since), the announcement of a new episode would not be very surprising.
But let's keep an eye on what Capcom is preparing for us, because we are obviously not immune to a (pleasant) surprise. As a reminder, Resident Evil 4 Remake has recently been talked about and everything suggests that it would not be long in coming. Note also that last year, during E3 2021, Capcom confirmed that it was working on the development of a single-player DLC for Resident Evil Village, without revealing the slightest image. Perhaps the opportunity to rectify the situation? Answer this Monday, February 21 at 7 a.m.!
