Capcom achieves a full box with Resident evil village : two months after its release, the latest title in the legendary franchise has sold 4,5 million copies worldwide.

A trend that has certainly slowed since the end of May, where the game had already sold more than 4 million copies, against 3 million on the day of its launch. This new level reached includes both its physical and digital versions.

The continuation of the adventures of Ethan therefore meets with great commercial success and continues to delight Capcom, which recently released a spin-off from its other very lucrative franchise, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

So much so that, in response to popular demand, Capcom made an announcement at E3 2021 about the production of additional DLC for Resident Evil Village. We don't know any more at this time, except that such a thing exists.

During its forum at the high mass of video games, the Japanese giant also confirmed the arrival this month of the multiplayer spin-off Resident Evil Re: Verse, which will be accessible free of charge to any owner of Resident Evil Village.

A horrific business that rolls for Capcom therefore, not to mention that its legendary license will soon be completed by a series camped by Netflix as well as by a reboot film of the events depicted in Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2.
